Responsibilities
- Model Design and Development: Research, develop, fine-tune, and adapt foundational models for various AI applications; and utilise knowledge bases such as vector databases, search indices, or other data stores for search and retrieval use cases
- Data Engineering: Engage in ETL processes, data engineering, and data preprocessing to support the AI system's robust functionality
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product team to research, define, and implement new algorithms and functionalities, ensuring alignment with R&D milestones, business goals and user needs
- Integration of Latest Technologies: Remain updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies. Leverage open-source software libraries and external systems to enhance product performance and user experience continually
- Scalability and Optimisation: Ensure the scalability and efficiency of AI solutions by optimising computational resources and performance to meet evolving demands
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, with a solid focus on AI and machine learning
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning, demonstrating proficiency in working with foundational models such as Large Language Models
- Proven experience in collaborative team environments, including close interaction with business and product teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and ability to translate business requirements seamlessly into technical solutions
- Passion for technology and research, with a desire to contribute to cutting-edge projects
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Strong English proficiency are critical for our global, diverse team
