MeetTaipei 2024 reaffirmed its reputation as Taiwan’s premier startup event, bringing together over 500 startups and more than 100 investors. This year, the event’s focus on artificial intelligence made it the perfect platform for us to exhibit and share our vision. With innovation and collaboration at its core, MeetTaipei delivered a unique blend of networking, inspiration, and discovery—pushing boundaries for what’s possible in the startup ecosystem.

We’re thrilled to announce that out of hundreds of startups, we were handpicked to showcase on both the Super Stage and Global Stage at MeetTaipei 2024. Our journey to MeetTaipei was informed by lessons learned from global events like Web Summit. Similar to our experience in Lisbon, we found that:

1. Investors Expect Purpose-Driven AI Solutions: Investors no longer see AI as a selling point on its own. Instead, they seek startups using AI as a tool to address specific pain points and achieve meaningful missions, rather than simply selling AI or Web3 as concepts.
2. The Need for Streamlined and Scalable Solutions: Many startups at MeetTaipei expressed a need for alternatives to traditional annual survey platforms and performance review systems. These approaches are time-consuming for employees and cumbersome for managers to analyse. Startups are increasingly drawn to solutions like L10, which simplify the process with just one question a day. This enables managers to understand both team culture and individual progress without adding to employee workload, saving significant time and effort.
3. AI is Driving Cross-Industry Transformation: From healthcare to retail, AI’s potential to reshape industries remains a key driver for collaboration and growth.

These insights strengthened our approach, ensuring our message resonated with the diverse audience at MeetTaipei.

1. A Leadership Vision: A senior leader at a major Taiwanese bank shared the challenges they face in understanding and addressing customer retention issues, especially among Gen Z. They expressed excitement about how our AI solution could help analyse retention patterns and unlock new opportunities in this area.
2. Investor Conversations: Several investors expressed enthusiasm about our approach to tackling the $30B+ retention problem in Taiwan. They highlighted their interest in AI solutions that are lightweight, scalable, and capable of delivering immediate impact—perfectly aligning with our product.
3. Collaboration Opportunities: We engaged with multiple startups and ecosystem players, initiating discussions about potential partnerships to integrate and expand our AI capabilities, further enhancing our impact in the retention space.
